This one ran 2nd by a neck in the debut and should improve off of that 62 debut Beyer. Adds lasix today, which is a strong move for trainer Mike Stidham (26%). The dam, Panty Raid won 5 of 10 starts for a million in earnings with all major stakes win coming a route of ground. Should be able to save all of the ground and is bred for a wet track. RACE 7 SELECTIONS (3-10-7-1, BEST BET-TURF ONLY): This is my BEST BET of the day and that is #3 OAK HILL (6-1) for trainer Al Stall. It is no mystery how well Stall has done here in the past and this one looks primed and ready to go. You can throw the last race out as it was on dirt, but note Stall does this often moving from dirt to turf and hits at a 29% rate doing so. Broke his maiden on the Spa lawn in career start #2 and then flopped in the first start against winners in a weird race where he blew the turn and lost all chance. Followed that up with a win over the Churchill sod. Solid breeze on 11/20 and expect this one to run very well in this spot. RACE 8 SELECTIONS (2-6-4-5): #2 NITROUS (7-2) hasn’t seen the winner’s circle since April 2019, but really like how he is coming into this race with an emerging pattern in his 4yo campaign. Ran a career best 95 Beyer last out when finishing 3rd beaten a head in the G3 DeFrancis Dash. Has not missed a beat training and I like the last two works at 5 furlongs.
