RACE 3: Going to take a shot with #11 WAR TERMINATOR (9-2) who ran a good second two back at this level. Last out stepped up and did zero running but that was against allowance company. Wheels back in 9 days, drops back down to a realistic level and attracts Irad today. Has the necessary back class to handle this field. SUGGESTED PLAYS: Win bet on #11 WAR TERMINATOR and an exacta key box 11/6,7,2,3,9.

RACE 5: #7 GOOD SAM (4-1) should hold at the morning line and should be able to improve second off the 7 month layoff. Went off as the 1-2 favorite last out and did all the dirty work sitting off a quick pace, kicked clear in the stretch but ended up getting caught by the second choice, Midnight Stroll. Nice to see that the race was at 7 furlongs and that is what she will get today. Nice outside draw for this and according to Formulator the last five years trainer Chad Brown is 10 for 39 (26%) in dirt sprints second off a 180-365 day layoff. I also like the fact that she is lightly raced compared to the rest of this field. SUGGESTED PLAYS: Win bet on #7 GOOD SAM and a exacta key box 7/2,5.

RACE 10 (THE JIM DANDY): Not sure what the weather is going to do but looks like we could very well see a wet track for this race. I liked #3 HIT SHOW (6-1) for the Derby and he outran his odds to be 5th. Thought the effort was decent and then ran an even race in the Belmont. Note that those two races were a bit too long for him and now cuts back to his preferred distance of a 1 1/8th. I like the three five furlong drills coming into this and rumor has it the works have been pretty good. If the track comes up wet he moves up being by Candy Ride who gets 20% winners on wet dirt and the dam won the Black Eyed Susan over a sloppy track. The price should be right and I like the jock upgrade to Luis Saez. #4 SAUDI CROWN (5-2) looks like LONE SPEED on paper Lightly raced 3yo with this only being his 4th start. Did all the dirty work last out going fast splits for a mile and got beat a nose by Fort Bragg. Could easily improve in this race to make some noise. SUGGESTED PLAYS: Win bet on #3 HIT SHOW and an exacta key box 3/ALL.

RACE 12: All I can tell you is #9 FIZZY (5-1) is a GIANT BET BACK for me. This one got a terrible trip and had zero shot winning the race but got going late in the game and BLEW past the field of the gallop out. Not sure what type of price we will get as many others saw the same thing but have to play this one back in this spot. Irad leaves but we get the more than capable Flavien Prat in the saddle. SUGGESTED PLAYS: Win bet on #9 FIZZY and an exacta key box 9/7,3,10.
