RACE 2: #7 FLYING IN STYLE (3-1) will probably go off the favorite but the debut run was very encouraging and think this is the most likely winner. Bobbled a touch breaking from the rail but immediately accelerated to take the lead and was pressed all the way by the eventual winner Newport Bridge (Linda Rice). Had every right to back up outside the 1/4 pole when passed but ran the entire stretch to run a good 3rd. Should’ve gotten a lot of education from that and has a much better draw being outside. Not a huge sample size, but according to Formulator the last five years, trainer Charlton Baker is 4 for 14 (29%) with 3yo in dirt sprints making their second start in MSW. SUGGESTED PLAYS: Win bet on #7 FLYING IN STYLE and an exacta key box 7/2,5,1,3.

RACE 6: #1 MISS M M (8-1) faced a touch better this past winter while down at Gulfstream and had two very competitive turf races that would make her a player in this spot. Third off the two month layoff and think you can throw the last effort out as she wants to go longer on turf. Has the inside draw as well as speed and gets Manny Franco who is excellent on the front end. The trainer Jose Jimenez is sneaky good and is 20% going sprint to route with a $6.58 ROI. SUGGESTED PLAYS: Win bet on #1 MISS M M and an exacta key box 1/3,2,7,5.

RACE 8: #1 WHITE FROST (3-1) is my BEST BET of the day. Her best distance is a mile on turf. Came back off a 14 month layoff to win impressively. Followed that up with a very good 2nd in the G3 Honey Fox. Was no match against the super sharp In Italian and then has failed as the odds on favorite the last two. Last out got squeezed at the start and it cost her 2 lengths which put her last and the winner that day Fast as Flight sat right off an incredibly slow pace over a very soggy turf course at Ellis Park. Meets a very tough field today but the upside is certainly there as well as a little value. SUGGESTED PLAYS: Win bet on #1 WHITE FROST and an exacta key box 1/5,4.

RACE 9: #6 MAIL ORDER (4-1) had a solid campaign in 2022 racking up two wins from 6 starts and was not seen from November 27th until July 3rd. Broke a touch awkward at the start and spotted the field a little more than a length. Closed well through quick splits but was never beating the winner, Roses for Debra who came back to win the G3 Caress with a 99 Beyer. Should be better second off the layoff and I like the work on 7/18 for this. Will be all of the 4-1 morning line. SUGGESTED PLAYS: Win bet on #6 MAIL ORDER and an exacta key box 6/2,1,7.
